I still do, minus the clowns and magicians and party. I'm too old for that. I still celebrate my birthday by eating out with my family although I don't expect gifts from them anymore.

Yes, but that was long ago when we were still kids like 7 or 8 years old. When still kids, we really celebrate birthdays and they prepare food for us and there are many of them, but now, when we grew up, we celebrate birthday, but not like before. Celebrating birthday for kids and for adults are so different... ha ha ha

I think it is good to celebrate birthdays. I do celebrate my birthday with my family. I most times buys masala dosa for everyone during my birthday. When I was younger, I used to cut birthday cakes and had lots of birthday gifts.

I still celberate my birthday, at 23. I don't know, in my country it's common that people celebrate their birthdays, unless they are really hating the thought...

Up until secondary school at age 11, I used to have a birthday tea to which I could invite my friends. After 11, I decided I was too grown up for birthday celebrations and didn't bother. Now landmark birthdays are celebrated, eg we had a week in a seaside hotel to celebrate my 50th. There's nothing special planned for the next landmark - Steve's 60th in 5 years, any ideas?
