Obesity is on the rise. The state of obesity in the world is a concern for all governments. With obesity comes the rise of hypertension and high cholesterol levels. Despite the efforts these governments have taken, the epidemic seems to become more serious. This epidemic affects both children and adults. I wonder what you can share with our community to help them.

If obesity comes along with junk food eating and leading a very sedentary life, then there`s a very bad future in a life. I think that the goverments should made prices of healthy food go down while at the same time there should be an education towards cooking healthy food and learning how to eat it.

It is not a concern of all governments at all. If that would be the case then fruits, vegetables, so healthy food would be way cheaper as all the fast food. Mainly low educated people (lack of knowing what is healthy or not) and poor people eat unhealthy food. The governments allow that the prices of healthy food stay sky high, even if a country is producing a lot of it (they just throw it away and keep the price high). BTW there are plenty of people who do have obesity and don't have any health problems at all. So also this might depend on the culture where you live. There are plenty of cultures where obesity is seen as a sign of wealth, where people like that are very active, they walk long distances, dance a lot, are shining, etc.

I agree with you. It is important for us to be careful and watch out for the things that we eat. Otherwise we can end up having a lot of health problems. Our family is doing better about this.
