it's over!!!!! yeah!!! and guess what?...it wasn't as bad as i thought is was going to be. the machine wasn't even in the wall. it was separate. also, i did not have to go in it head first and full body. it was only my lower half in the machine. in fact, i really think i could have done it if i had to go full body. there is no way they could close you in their. it's just like a gigantic doenut. i feel silly. i freaked out over nothing. it was a cinch. thanks to all of you who offered me kind words and support. i love you guys. now, to wait for the test results to see if i have to have surgery or not.

Well, very often we tend to frighten ourselves due to first timer [em]lol[/.em]. I hope you will get a good test result and get over with what needs to be done as soon as possible. So that you will not be under stress with all the unnecessary speculations.[em]lol[/.em]. All the best to you!

When I was 8 years old I had one, and it was scary at that time but I was young and the thing was REALLY loud! But I had another when I was an adult and I was like wow, what scared me so bad when I was younger? Lol. I am glad it went okay for you and it wasn't as bad as you expected it to be! =) I hope the test results come back soon, I hope you don't need surgery...

TOLD YA SO!! Even if you had to do the full body thing I bet it would have been better than you thought. The attendant is right there talking to you and easing you though it. You did freak out over nothing. Ignorance of the unknown. Hope the results are good. No surgery. Glad it worked out okay.

I know just how you feel. So glad it's over and even a little bit silly that you were so worried. Well if the truth were known almost anyone who has faced one of those large machines for the first time is fearful. I certianly hope the good news is waiting for you. Will keep up the prayers.

The reason for all the positive result is your will to be healthy and the selfe discipline you applied.

I can feel the relief pouring off you as I read your discussion, don't feel silly at all, even the best of us have our fears, it's the fears of the unknown and the fears of what if... worst possible scenario and it's what our minds conjure up that make it a hundred times worse than what it really is. I am so glad it's over for you, and here's hoping you won't have to wait too long for the results my friend.

I'm so happy that you got it done and that it wasn't so bad after all. Good for you! You must feel so much better. You were so upset yesterday now look how happy you are today. I hope and pray the results turn out not to be so bad and that everything will be ok. Please keep us posted as to what the results are. How long do you have to wait for the results?
