Without love we would not be able to come into existence. Without love we would not be able to care for one another and protect our parents and siblings. I feel as if love is litterally necessary to sustain life.

love is a human need, surely it is a very important thing for every person. Also love is the best killer of the hate. It allows us to heal from pain, to live life in a more meaningful way.. To enjoy our days.. Love gives us a purpose

? Parents should care about their children not the other way round. Love is there in all kind of ways. In many occassions people are way more closer to animals as to their own family (a big part of that family also takes you for granted and abuses you in the name of the bloodline, not really something you can call positive energy).
btw you would be amazed if you know how many children worldwide are born because of rape! I would not call that love (a love deed) either. I think love is necessary but loving oneself in the first place. Survival of the fittest, the fight to stay alive, also hate are very powerfull ways of energy and will keep people fighting/alive. I think even way more as love does. Since (just read all the issues/discussions over here) love is seldom about love, it's in most cases about a lot of problems, abuse, etc.
