I don't think this is punk, but what do I know?

Okay, on another discussion I posted a picture of my daughter in her pink hair. Well, it didn't show up so well in the lighting, so I brought her into my bathroom where I have makeup lights. The light was perfect to show how her hair looks. So, do you think it looks punk rock style? I see it as hot pink but I don't see it as punk.
What are your thoughts?

It was different shades in different lights. I loved it. She went and covered it dark brown now. So much for pink.

Hey there, PQ. Happy Easter! Your daughter is beautiful. She looks a lot like you. In answer to our quesion, I do ge why people are saying that it is punk. It is the hair color but it does not look punk at all. Punk is not only the hair color but he makeup, fashion etc...there is more to it than just the hair color. Attitude also factors in. Here is some punk and your daugter does not look as if that is her.

very sweet. its not quite pink as the singer pink sometimes has but yes a hot pink in the light. anyway she is a lovely girl. for sure

It depends on who you ask, I have several friends who dye their hair neat colours. I have a few times, once I did it hot pink, another purple, blue and pink. I thought it was neat, and it shows yourself. But many say you just want attention, or making a fool of yourself. I simple said I'm not like everyone else to follow the trend and look like you. If I could do it now and keep my jobs I would.

That splat hair color is neat. It has nice colors. It's kind of messy though. You have to protect your skin on your hairline or it will stain your ears and stuff. She is getting to be a pro at it. It all looks good on her.

Well its also how she dresses that depicts the punk style. i mean you could call it punk if you wanted too but just the pink isnt really that much of punk.

If you look at the url sids sent punk is all kinds of style the more outrageous the more punk but it is a punk color, and there are some blonds in those pics with just long blond hair.
there are two pic with the hair color that resembles what I can see on the pic of your daughter,.

Fully agree!
I believe it is an innocent typo mistake since the "i" and "u" keys are next to each other. Your daughter is no where near being a punk but I would have my hands up for being "cool" here.

The hair color is sweet and gentle. It matches with the t-shirt she is wearing, haha. She has a lovely smile...
