Most don't look into the small prints on credit cards, or how it can screw up your credit in a snap of the finger. I know a few people who would sign up for anything to get free things, I look into it especially wonder what the catch is. Right now I have 1 credit card in use, and have another on my name. Which I aactually cut up in 2007, but never cancelled it (I thought you just cut it up and it went away). But seeing as it's in good standings it's helping my credit. I was just looking at getting another credit card, and just use it to help my credit. But I am not sure which to go with to be honest, I was looking at Walmart.

If you are willing to sign up with credit karma to check your credit standing, they usually would recommend those credit cards that are good for your credit score, if you can keep up with all those payments. So, why not check this out, and see which one you like the most. Usually, I would sign up with those credit cards with reward points.

I usually only sign up for cards that give me something. My current credit card gives me rewards and I get a few free tanks of gas a year.

its really nice when we have this credit card because we have a thing and pay without any hesitation because its not a money and it is a card only, that is why many people who had this been attempted to use their credit cards to buy even it is not important.

I had thought the same thing when I was being taught about credit cards. As if all I needed to do was cut it up and it'd be fine, go away etc. I have been told to go with bank credit cards, but I honestly don't know either. Perhaps a credit union credit card? Though I think those can have high interest rates. Do you have sam's clubs? I don't know if walmart's card and sam's club credit card's are the same or not, but it'd be worth investigating.

I do think that it is a good idea to have several different credit cards that we only use once or twice a year. However, I do also think that when we do opt to have several different cards, it is important to have cards that could be used at any store that we might shop at as opposed to being a card that can only be used in one store. In addition to that, it is also important to make sure that the new card that you might be getting is also a card that you would not have to pay an annual fee on as the annual fees can be something that will be quite expensive.

I only have 2 credit cards and my debit card. My main card is a Discover and it does cashback rewards whenever I use it and every month they have a special offer where they increase your cashback bonus if you use the on certain things (December it's online shopping and department stores, in the summer it was entertainment like movies, theme parks, etc. and most recently it was on restaurants). It's a good card for me because I don't spend a lot and I can save up my bonuses to redeem for cash or gift cards. In my opinion the gift cards are better because you can usually spend $40 for a $45 or $50 card which is worth more than what you spent. My other card is a Macy's card and the only reason I opened that was so I could get the extra discount when I bought a nice watch for myself. I've used it twice and now it's paid off and I haven't used it.
