My children always intend to take all varieties of sweets at all the seasons.. I always try to stop that bad habit of taking sweets into mouth... My girl child sometimes like to take sugar directly to eat and enjoy... Why people every time likes very much of eating different types of sweets?.. Are there any actual and useful benefits of eating sweets regularly?.... I like only to take them on special days only, but not heavy... Let me know your opinions on taking sweets regularly as a general habit of children...

for me i think having or eating of sweets everyday is good for our health as long as we never abuse our self to eat sweets because if we do that it can be cause of diabetes and also having an Urinary track disease,so control it will be good for us.

Theres a saying that too much of something is bad enough. taking too much sweets may not only caused tooth decay especially to children who cant have control of eating those kinds. it may also encourage diabetes and very much prone to those who have this illness in their family blood line. Hmm, precaution is better than cure , so maybe we should develop balance diet to avoid some problems to occur. Maybe some sort of research about the amount of sugar to take daily would be the best thing to do so we can be on the right tract. And also encourage the children instead of eating candies, lollipops or even chocolates they can eat fruits and talk to them about the value of fruits in our body. And also try to have a little hints on the danger brought by eating too much sweets. To make it meaningful and more comprehensive for them to be aware of the things that you will be able to discuss or say, let them see some videos caused by eating too much sweets. I hope i have help in some little way for this sort of problem...happy mylotting;)

The only time I eat sweets is when I have to take my medication, it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth and makes me feel nauseous just by sucking a mint or a humbug takes the vile taste away, I tend to chew gum more than sweets, and chewing gum, providing it's sugar free helps to fight bacteria etc in your mouth as it stimulates saliva which is proven to help protect the teeth and gums.

The more sweets you take, the more work out you have to do to burn them.Until and unless someone wants to get fat in no time, i don't think its good idea to consume sweets daily. Its better to eat fruits instead, they are sweet too and much healthy.Best wishes.

Sweets are go foods. They are good sources of calories and provide one with energy for the rest of the day. The thing is having too much of everything is a definite no-no. Even with other vitamins this would be bad for your health. In sugar's case they may become diabetic in the future. It is bad for the teeth as well because too much sweet causes tooth decay. Artificial or empty calories coming from junk food are the worse! They make people obese as unlike fructose- (natural sugar or sweet), artificial sugar is hard to consume and will often make the person taking it fat.

Too much sweets is dangerous to adults especially diabetic persons but for children it's okay. But if you want your children healthy, should control their intake of sweets food.

It's not good for your teeth i think when you're a kid but I have something sweet every morning with my coffee, donuts, cookies or cake and sometimes chocolate. i think if you just have a little sweet every day than that's OK, just don't eat a whole bag of sugar or cookies

Sweets should be a treat if they eat them every day they will get tooth decay ,gain weight and be very unhealthy.I used to let my kids have sweets on a friday if they behaved themselves all week.Easter and christmas they were allowed sweets, chocolates as long as they ate their dinner and fruit.Get your daughter in the habit of eating fruit it is much better for her and the occasional sweet will not harm her. Get her to brush her teeth twenty minutes after eating sugary foods or she will rub the sugar even deeper into her teeth and gums.

try replaceing sweets with fruit and something different at different days not the same thing maybe jello with fruit, fruit cocktail, we all like sweets and I to need a few habits changed..so trying something different does help..even poptarts that have vitamins, also some cerial without the milk does at time help replace the candy...when I grew up my mom would cook mainly one great meal on Sunday and then maybe a special dessert..we always looked forward to sunday meals..keep kids busy takes the mind off of some eating..

Our cravings for something sweet is just natural most especially our children. I guess it helps to boost or maintain our energy but for adults, I think it must be done in moderation. Most children are fond of sweet foods especially candies but we must also be aware that too much sweets can cause tooth problem in the long run. So we must also teach them how to take care of their teeth by regular brushing.

Well, the sugar can destroy your teeth. So you can enjoy them but brush the teeth at least after every sweet intake. Or forget sweets. That's the better thing to do.

Hi I believe if you want to have sugar it is okay as long as it is from fruit which is a natural source and it is the best for your health. Like anything everything should be in moderation, I do not think it is wrong if you want to treat yourself every now and then providing you have no health issues but I would limit the amount for children.

I think having sweets daily is not good for our teeth. Because it encourages dental cavities, especially for toddlers. Because they tend to lazy clean their teeth or brush their teeth. But if it just for special moment such as in picnic or holidays, I think it is okay. I hope this will help you.

I think if they don't eat a lot of sweets everyday, it is OK. In fact sweets are not so horrible and people often have a wrong impression to the sweets. As the sugar is important for our body. It creates the energy. And it is also healthy for our liver. So we can't totally get rid of the sugar.

I believe balance is still the key. My 4-year-old niece likes to eat jelly, chocolates and lollipop but luckily we don't encourage it every day. The good thing is she doesn't only get stuck to artifical sweets like I mentioned but she also really likes fruits especially watermelon, orange and apples.

Glucose is the main source of energy. Appropriating the body converts sugar to glucose, but this process requires calcium. How many know the kids need more energy due to their active lifestyle. People who work in mental work, need to get more glucose because it accelerates cerebral blood flow. Sugar we need. Specifically, glucose. If you do not get sugar, your body is trying to synthesize it himself. Complex chemical reactions take place, the body loses a lot of energy, fatigue and so on. Thus, even if the man is not taking sweets, sugar, eat a little fruit, the blood may also increase the amount of sugar because the body itself is trying to synthesize sugars. I think it is better to "listen" to your body and give him enough glucose. Excellent source of glucose - honey, fruits, especially dried.

First of all, too much sweet can be bad for anyone's healthy. It gives us an illusion of being full but we are not actually gaining to much from it. And of course, sweets can ruin your kids' teeth. Most especially if they do not brush their teeth well.

I never give any sweets to my children when they are young. As I do not want to develop this habit for them. Consuming too much sweets and regularly is not healthy for the children as well as adults.
