It's been a couple of days since we got back from New York. My husband planned a trip for our 3 year wedding anniversary as well as a second honey moon for use since our first honey moon was one night in a hotel. The first day there we got in at 4pm we drove the six hours from Virginia to New York. Not many stops for us sinc eit was just us two for this trip. That night we walked around time square till it was time to go into the theatre to watch Phanto of the Oprea this was my second time seeing it on Broadway but third time over all. My husband managed to get us front row seats which was awesome by the way. This is one of my favorites hitch is why mupy husband picked. Once he show was over we walked down to the Hard Rock Cafe where we had dinner. Went back to our room and pretty much crashed for the night. I was tired out and was falling sleeping watching tv. In the morning we got up hit McD's then walked down to m&m world and looked around. Then went across the street to meet up with a friend And talked about seeing Phantom and then about WIcked which we were going to later on that day. She works out of the offices on Briadway and told us tell her if we saw anything we would like to have. After we visited for a bit we walked some more around time square and then head to Wicked. We were up high for this one but enjoyed it indeed and told my husbands friend what we would want from the show. She got us one damaged stuff. They didn't look damaged to us and are in great shape. We took the subway out to there the two towers stood for a bit and then went back to out to where we where staying had dinner went back to out room chilled for the night and went bed so we could hit the road in the morning.

. I am happy for you that you had a wonderful time in NYC. I have not been there but I wish and plan some day I will visit it with my family. I have heard a lot of good stories about this city. Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience.

Really? Every city has its worst part. Does New York have the worst?

Yeah it's driving you don't drive in that city. You either walk, take the subway or ride a bike because you won't make it far in the cityninna car because its heavy with traffic.

Yes it is a fun place but you have to protect yourself down there.

I like visiting NYC. I wouldn't want to live there to expensive but it was a good time just going and hanging around.

That sounds like a really nice trip that your husband and yourself were able to have. For me, it has been quite a while since I've been able to spend any period of time away from home and that is something that I am really hoping that I will be able to do this summer. I'm glad that the two of you had a wonderful time and I am sure that your children were very happy to see the two of you when you got home from your trip.

I am so glad you had a good time! I miss visiting the city, I lived on Long Island most of my life so we went to the city a lot since we only lived an hour from there. :) I hope to one day have a Honeymoon with my husband too. We never had one, and this year in April will be our 8th wedding anniversary. I just keep hoping one day we will get our chance for one... I hope so anyway! We were so broke when we got married, it was us, 8 other people in the church. After the wedding we just went home and relaxed... Not much of a Honeymoon, huh? Lol.

Nope not much of a honeymoon. But at that time we took what we could take for one and a night at a hotel wasn't bad we didn't have to pay for it. We used our tax refund after paying off a few things before hand.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip to New York. It brings me back to when I lived in Staten Island and would go to New York to see plays. That was my favorite thing to do back about 15 to 20 years ago. We would get discounted tickets and get to see so many plays in our time. My favorites being Miss Saigon and My Fair Lady to name a few. We would usually go straight from work, having dinner before the play. On some nights if we were off the next day we would stop for dessert after the play. Love New York for it never sleeps. I'm glad you got to see two shows that is wonderful treat. I also hope the kids behaved for your parents.

My kids weren't with my parents they where with my mother in law and my hubsands step dad.. Yes they both behaved and we picked them from my parents house on Thursday my mother in law had to go into work and my husbands sister was going to watch them but then my nephew was sick so my mom watched them all day till we got in at 4pm. My daughter wasn't f Very good on Thusday she tends to be a handful when she is away from mom for a few days she gets all excited and can't contain her happiness.
