Have you heard about some places which offer their best native delicacies in town? In Ormoc, they have these what they call "binagol" and "moron." They are made up of fine rice with sugar and chocolates inside to make it different and delicious. The "binagol" is placed in a coconut husk and wrapped with the banana leaves while the "moron" is just simply wrapped in the banana leaves which i think adds some touch of good taste in it. It was my first time to taste it because my friends wanted me to bring some home for them. Most of the towns here in my country offers something like this. And if you happen to visit each town, never forget to taste and take home some because it is still different to taste it in the place of its origin rather than buying it in the city like Manila. Do you also have some like that in your place? can you care to share?

Yeah I have tasted both already and I like moron much better since they are quite different from other delicacies I have tasted. I think that is what is being offered to many places you visited they have their own unique sweets and delicacies that will tickle you taste buds.

My dad is from Burauen. And my dad would often bring home "moron" and "binagol". I also love the "torta" (start-shaped butter cake.

In my mom's province in Batangas, grandma would always make this "suman" (rice cake) wrapped in banana leaves, it is tied together and you smear it with her home made coco jam. It's so delicious and very unique tasting than any other "suman" I've ever had. Grandma would always cook this during the lent and Christmas.

The Philippines I must say, has the most diverse food and delicacies you can ever find. Every city or province has its own take in terms of foods. And it’s a good way of showing and sharing it to those who travels in the country. In my take, I am from Northern Mindanao and we have this tasty pastry/delicacy called Pastillas but also I love Cebuano delicacies such as Otap, Masareal and Dried Mangoes.
