I heard on this day about more than 4 fire accidents in our local area... One is at cotton go-down, the other at temple area... Generally in summer they will be more and more.... Why the people are neglecting about precautions at their residential areas?... Most of these accidents are a cause of short circuits.... The fittings and connections of the electricity provision should be very strictly and safely ... Really i feel very bad of hearing such fire accidents more than 2-3 every week... What is the best sharing matter for this important issue regarding this protection of wealth and health of the people....

Hi gamyam, Yes, most if not all fire accidents can be prevented. You will notice that it is usually due to lack of education and carelessness or indifference. If you can overcome these then I'm quite sure the rate of fire accidents will be greatly reduced or eliminated. Of course, the authorities have to do more to alleviate this.

March is a fire prevention month and our government usually this month warns all the residences in the whole country as the month of March is the start of summer season. Well, prevention is still the best practice of every residences. Octopus wiring is the main cause of fire and next of it is playing candles of children. So we should prevent that.

Then someone or somebody is at fault and they should be brought into question for all these fire accidents, someone has to be accountable, and more stricter rules put in place to stop this happening so frequently. Usually there is a fire investigatory body that oversees this sort of thing. Negligence is not acceptable.

Fire is almost anywhere in places where it is summer because of intense heat. In my locality, even dried leaves in certain parts of the mountains just sparks. The fire transfer from one mountain to another The bad thing is we do not have firefighters in the mountain to put it off. The fire will just die if there are no more dried leaves and twigs to catch more fire!

I live in the Philippines and some cases which causes fire is in effect of some house structuring materials that are made in some rural communities in my country, some houses are made from light materials like wood, which really triggers to start a fire. In addition, carelessness of mature people does take effect in causing accidental fire. For instance, leaving the children playing with fire does really trigger in some accidents. Another reason is electrical tapping and octopus wirings, which is really dangerous most especially when such connections are done by substandard electrical materials.

i guess the ones to blame are the ones who are putting in the wiring. maybe that company could be sued.

here in the Philippines when its April its "Fire Prevention Month" all over the country but ironically though most fire incidents happen during this month. its most probably caused by the intense heat of the summer season and negligence. our local governments have disaster units to take care of the needs of fire victims which include food, clothing, temporary shelter,or if necessary relocation sites.

People are careless about this issue, they just take it too lightly. Why compromise with safety and put your life in danger.Even in the offices where there are fire extinguishers and other arrangements most of the people don't bother to learn about how to use them .

I really think it is more likely more media coverage then more fires, either that or there is some faulty equipment that is breaking down more, or even more people causing fires.
