Anybody here as part-time accountant?

I am an accountant working full time in a private company. Salary and benefits are great, but so is the stress that comes with it. One of my friends who is also an accountant decided to quit her full time job and just be a part-time accountant. It strike me that it is a good idea doing just part-time accounting or bookkeeping. I own my time and I get to be with my kid most of the time. If I can just get three clients I could probably compensate for the lost salaries and benefits if I resign from my current job. Anybody here who are into part-time accounting work? How did you get your first client?

I am not into it because I am not an accountant, but I like the idea of being able to control my time. I gave up teaching and am now doing tutorials privately and I have not regretted having given up a full-time job in favor of having more freedom with my job.
