I Want To Go Back To New York City!!

I arrived in Manhattan on February 11th, and came home on the 13th. Personally, I could have spent a month there, but hubby didn't want to go with me, and the budget was limited, so I only stayed for two days. It was great! I got to be in the audience for the Anderson Cooper show (his daily talk show) I got to go shopping at Bloomingdales ate a really expensive dinner at the Russian Tea Room, and rode all over the place in a taxi! :) It was awesome, and I loved it. The weather was very nice in February, despite the talk of the giant blizzard. In all honesty, we got it worse here in Guelph, than we did there. LOL Now, thanks to Bubblews, MyLot, Gather, Swagbucks, and a lot of other sites, I'm trying to earn enough money to GET BACK THERE!!!! Woohoo!!! I would love to be able to spend more time there. Fortunately New York is pretty close to where I live in Guelph Ontario, so flying is no problem. The flight is actually pretty cheap, and if I keep earning Aeroplan miles, it won't cost me a thing! Any place you really want to go, right now? If you have ever been in New York City, how did you like it?

Hey Now!!! Well you know I live in NYC. Brooklyn to be exact. If I could go anywhere, first I would like to go to the west coast. Then I would like to see Canada and then maybe Europe. Well hopefully next time you come to NYC you will come here in the warm weather. It is much nicer in the spring and summer.

Oh, the Russian Tea Room? I understand that Illya Kuryakin hangs out there, you didn't happen to see an older blond guy there?

Other than the airport, I was there when I was 10. I remember my siblings pretending we were speaking Spanish, and my mom was on Jeopardy. I'd like to go there again, but it's not the etop orf my list.

I lived in New York City and Staten Island from the age of 6 to 50 years old. I loved living there as a child but as I got older I found it to be way to crowded and noisey. I can see going back for a visit for a week, but that is it. I worked also in New York City for 27 years, traveling by ferry boat each and everyday, shopping in the stores downtown, going to countless broadway plays which would be the biggest thing I miss. Otherwise New York City itself is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. I have been to many places in the US but one place I haven't would be Las Vegas and that would be fun to visit, I think. I would love to go mostly to the shows.

danishcanadian New York city is a wonderful place to visit. However, I would never ever want to live there. I have visited many many times...I was on a program in New Brunswick NJ for 8 months so NY was the main place to go on weekends..It was fun..but way way too crowded...

Wow sounds nice! My brother just visited New York last year and loved it. I have never been to USA and if I do go, it is more likely to be Western USA as I have heard so much about Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Yellowstone national parks. Besides, it is significantly cheaper for me to visit Western USA than Eastern USA. I would like to check out Niagara Falls though if I ever have the chance to be in Eastern USA.

I have several places to which I'd like to travel right now; however, I have other goals that take priority over traveling right now. I'm more interested in getting another place in which to live; that is a much higher priority here. I'm tired of renting--and this rental in particular. So, I am exploring my options here in terms of how I can have nicer housing and stop throwing away money on rent here.
