Kids are on vacation and of course i am as well. The whole day we spent talking and telling stories with each other. They asked me to join with them in the swimming pool and so i did. We had snacks and told them a lot of stories during my younger days. I could see how eager they wanted to hear all of those stories. It felt like I had blast from the past. I also took the opportunity telling them some good pieces of advise as their mom. My two girls were very attentive and I knew that they were really interested as they listened intently unlike the youngest one, my only boy who happened to be only seven years old who kept on stealing the scenes that made all of us laughed so hard. I really love that moment with my children because it has been a very long time that we didnt have that kind of bonding, I mean only me and my kids. My husband was at work the whole day so we have all the house for ourselves. When was the last time you bonded with your kids?

I don't have any kids 'cause I am not married yet. My uncle's daughter , who is 10 years was with me for around 10 days 3 months ago. And we did many things. She talks a lot and little naughty. But I like her. We went to park , to river, to hillside, etc.

That's what is so nice with being a full time mother. You get to bond with your children always. Keep it up! Enjoy your kinds while they are still small. Once they grow up, it will be another stage of adjustment.

Thanks my dear. You are right, time really passes so quickly that is why I am trying to make use of this quality moments while they are small. Sooner or later, they will become very busy with their own little world apart from me.

My son and daughter don't live with me so the time that I do see them, it's so very precious. My son is 10 years old and he spends the weekends with me, and sometimes through the week. My daughter lives in a different state (long story) so I stay in touch with her through facebook and phone, she is 19. So to answer your question, I try to bond with my son when he is here on the weekends. I clear my schedule so the time we have together is truly "us" time.

I try to bond with my children on a daily basis. This can be in something as simple as working on homework together or it could be something as extravagant as planning a day out with just the children. We might spend a day at the swimming pool or we might decide to visit the zoo. Just having time that I am able to spend with my children is something that I value very much. My children are my world and that is why I devote a lot of time to them.

My oldest son lives right here so we bond all the time. The youngest one was here about 1 1/2 years ago and we were able to spend some valuable time together. All of that changes this summer as we will all be living in the same town. I am looking forward to that.

I'm so envious of you. The last time I had a quality time with my son it was on February. I'm planning to have a night swimming with my son. Hopefully within the summer season.

Having quality time with your kids is one of our prized possessions :) A while ago we went to the mall and had a dinner outside. And we went to the grocery to buy some stuffs for my son. He run around the mall and looking for his new toy to destroy. LOL
