Vaseline on lips

Have you guys tried Vaseline on your lips and what was the result? A lot of people say that it's a very good lip balm, but I'm not sure because I also hear elsewhere that it can actually make your lips look dark and I don't want that of course. I am starting to get a bit frustrated with the other lip balms in the market so I'm seriously looking for an alternative now.

I use vaseline for many uses. It is more natural than lip balm. I also put it over my eyelids and over scubs when I cut my fingers. I don`t understand what gave you the idea that skin might change in color with it although it does shine because it is greasy.

I use it all the time and it does nothing any other lip balm would do. I use it on my eyelashes for moisture..notice a bit of good there.

I don't use Vaseline on my lips simply because of the way it tastes. I cannot deal with that. I do use Carmax and I would recommend it to you to use as well. I have never heard of Vaseline making your lips dark?

Hi wander, well I have never heard of vaseline turning the lips
dark...where on earth would that come from...I have definately
use it on my lip especially in the hard winter..But I don't think
you need to worry about it turning your lip dark...If they start
to turn dark it probably from something else not the vaseline...
