Has anyone participated in (and been paid by) GomezPEER?

Hi!
Just wondering if anyone has heard of GomezPEER or if anyone has had any experience with them? I've downloaded the program and have it running in the background. But I'm just wondering if it's worth having it there, doing what ever it is that it is doing?

Once your application is approved (which may take quite a long time), the program pays reliably. I have earned about $8 a month regularly for about 2 years now.
I get occasional warnings from my antivirus (blocking the offending pages) but I have never had any problems with it.

Awesome news! I kind of figured that it would take quiet awhile for my application to be approved as I somewhere in the 200,000 LOL! That's okay, I don't mind having it running in the background if it means that sometime down the track I might be able to get paid. $8 per month regularly sounds okay ;)

The amount sounds nice for an app running in the background.
But does it slow down the computer any?
I am always suspicious and stay away from downloading software to make money, its just a safety percausion...

I did have it running in the background and then I had to get a new hard drive because mine was going out. I tried to get it back on again and it refuses to do anything. I was almost up to the $5 cashout after months of using it too so that seemed pretty crap

*sigh* After 3 months and this discussion I decided to go and try it again and it's working again. In January I tried several times and it kept giving me an error! I could have made cashout by now

I was a member of GomezPeer long time ago. It took me quite a long time getting my account approved. I was happy after that. However, later I realized that my earning was just one cent everyday even if I had been online for a long time. Then it was so discouraging. Therefore, finally I decided to quit it and uninstalled this software. I don't think I can even reach the minimum payout.

I remember coming across that site a while ago and I really wanted to join because I've heard of members making around forty dollars a month sometimes from there but I was never able to get the program to approve on my computer. I guess I just don't know my computers proper model or something because I was never able to actually use the program.

I have an account with GOMEZ PEER, my account right now is still pending, they sent me a email telling me,they will activate accounts this month, so far nothing I am still pending I am just waiting, but if they don't active my account, I will delete them because I have other web sites, that I am earning from really good, so I won't be needing Gomez Peez.
