It helps to step back and take a look at 'what money is.' Start with your own perspective---from your perspective, money is 'something that people give you in exchange for your agreement with them (contract-agreement, family-agreement, repayment-agreement, etc.)' and it's 'something YOU give people in exchange for THEIR agreements.' So a basic answer to the question "How do I make more money?" Make agreements with more people who are giving more money! That reveals something about money---whether you 'earn' money or 'deserve' money or what, you don't 'get' money unless people 'give' money. For example, the money I 'get' is the money I am 'given' by an insurance-company. I may 'deserve' that money (& much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much-much more), but what I 'deserve' doesn't matter unless the insurance-company AGREES to give me that much more. (Actually, they're 'paying my parents for the damage they did to me by giving me the money they would give to my parents for the incident' ... or something, as the incident happened when I was 14.) So if you're doing something that you feel is WORTH money, find someone who has money & -who agrees that you're worth it.

I agree that to make more money it helps if you know more people with money. Networking is thus important. The most important thing is still whether or not you have what it takes to make others want to pay you for your service.

So what you're saying is get a job and keep your insurance up to date by paying your premiums regularly? Now there's a concept!

BUT you did not enter into an agreement to get run over by this guy so his insurance company could 'give' you money. BTW, I am not making light of your accident. That sucks. Sorry to hear it.

@LaDeBoheme Doesn't a license-to-drive come with the understood agreement that you WON'T kill anybody with your vehicle? And doesn't citizenship come with the understood agreement that you won't harm any of your fellow citizens' children?

That's pretty-much a given---in the money-atmosphere, you've got to keep breathing (not an exact metaphor, but 'keeping your insurance up-to-date kinda falls in with the 'keep your bills paid' & 'save for a rainy day'---those basic responsibilities that come with money). And no, I didn't mention "paying your insurance-premiums"; except my salary is paid 'BECAUSE' (I guess) the guy that ran me over paid HIS premiums.

I agree with what you are saying to a certain extent. I think that we have to work for money though; it shouldn’t just be handed out to us…maybe in a few rare instances. Most people have to work for their money and aren’t given money for nothing. They are given paychecks or cash for exchange of their work. I’m sure you deserve the money from the insurance and please don’t think I am saying you don’t. For example if you work as a cashier, then the company is saying they agree to pay you for being a cashier. Most cashiers will earn a hourly rate. When the cashier doesn’t do their job then they will most likely be fired. I do like your perspective and it makes me think about money in a different way. It makes it seem like it is easier to earn money or get money than it actually is. The reality is though; most people don’t just go around handing money to people for nothing. If you find anyone that is though…please let me know!

If I find anybody who's doing that, I'll be sure their money goes to 'a worthy cause' () before they can get to ya` And I don't know where people read that I claim 'people get other people to give `em FREE money for no reason at all'; I thought I specified that a person makes an agreement with someone else &--honoring that agreement--then gets the money. Back to my example (filling in a few details): the agreement was something-like 'the insurance-holder murdered me, robbing my parents of an estimated value of "the pitiful amount the insurance-company sends me" per month for 40-to-60 years.' Maybe I don't agree, but it's not my agreement (except by inheritance).

Oh yes! Money is something that should be given out, and it do depends on the other party on whether or not you will be given a such. But, acquiring or having money, does not involve on only asking it directly on who supply it. We have to render services in order to acquire it, which definitely, will need us to work and sacrifice. This is just being paid of by the services we extended or being reciprocated by a work done. There is no easy money, unless you're born to the wealthiest man on earth, whose riches will allow him to live 30 life spans.

That's the 'agreement': you give work/service/production, money-givers give money. And no, riches do NOT 'allow him to live 30 life spans.' '30 life spans' can also be lived by a person with NOTHING! He just needs to be obedient to those who love him and want him around that long

Agreed wholeheartedly with what you are saying. To earn much more money you need to make an agreement for someone who are willing to give money for the exchange of your skills or your energy. If money doesn’t matter I’ll just do my hobby and never to have to work for someone for something which I don’t care. But now I have to since I have to get to pay my bills.

Okay, but you need to do it in exchange for 'something you would do even if they WEREN'T offering money for it'---like many of the big music-stars seem to do in this music-industry that seems (to us 'Muggles' outside the industry) like flashy Karaoke!
