have you outgrown the child in you?

No matter how old we are, there are moments that we let go of our guard to unleash the child hiding inside ourselves. I have never really outgrown the child in me---the one who believes in fairy godmothers and happily ever-after endings. But of course this is metaphorically speaking. Fairy godmothers are those we consider wise old people whom we get good pieces of advice. And believing in happy ever-after is only a symbolical belief that there is always a rainbow after each storms of our lives. What about you, have you let go your Peterpan and wings??

Hi cherigucchi, I am 73 years old and I've never outgrown the child in me - and I hope I never do. You describe it so well. Blessings.

I am already at my early 40's and though we could consider it not that very young anymore, I still feel I am young at heart. Thanks for your response. Blessings to you too.

The child in me who never get tired of being amazed, like surprises, like to hug and be hugged, keep on discovering how things work, never afraid to sit besides strangers and would brag what I got last christmas is very much alive in me. This child in me makes me feel younger and loved. I still believe in fairytale that tell that the wicked witch would not win at the end. There are still Prince Charmings around me ready to be my knights in a shining armor and that I can be also a knight to other princesses who might be trapped in the web of wickedness by the witch in the society.

Very much like me, huh! At least I know that I am not a retard! Hahahahaha I am also like that and it feels really good all the time. Now I believe that age is just numbers because the heart never really grows old.
