Even using Anagrammer, I still lose at this game!

I like to play word games like Bookworm, Scrabble and Words with Friends to help keep my brain sharp. I've been playing Words with Friends for years, but many of my friends didn't own iPhones or iPods, so I sought strangers out to play all the time. But it seemed that I was always destined to lose! I just had problems putting words together out of the letters, and it began to depress me! It just showed me how much multiple sclerosis messed with my brain function. Then I discovered a great website that listed all the three letter words that started with each letter that Words with Friends accepted. But One person I connected with just absolutely destroyed me every game, so I sought out other pages to help me. One website was more geared for Scrabble, so not every legal Scrabble word was a legal Words with Friends. More of my regular Facebook friends would try starting a game with me, and I'd usually lose pretty bad. It got pretty bad for a while-I really felt dumb! And it didn't improve my mood. But for some reason, my stubborn self kept trying! That's when I discovered Anagrammer! At the website, you first plug in your letters, then the letter you are crossing (if any), and click Go. It automatically provides you a list of ALL legal words, sorted by either length OR points value! Finally I had a helper that would make me start to feel better about myself! My games improved, but I couldn't win against everyone, even using all of these helpful web pages! And I actually won some games too-finally! But I've been playing back and forth with a long time friend. But for some reason, I am more likely to lose-but I don't know why. Take out most recent game: she didn't like her tiles I guess, and skipped her turn . I started off pretty good. For days, I was significantly in the lead-and I felt like I was actually going to win! But just one word started it, and that lead began shrinking. And no matter what, I couldn't regain it. The game went from my having a 100+ point lead to a 100 point NEGATIVE lead. I was like WTF happened? I have a love-hate relationship with this game. Have you ever played?

I've played a few times. I've won some; I've lost some. I will say, though, that using programs to help you give up words sort of undermines your purpose in playing if you are doing this to help keep your brain sharp.

That should read "help you come up with words." I think that it is getting to be about time for me to go to sleep...

It's triggering my brain at the same time. It comes up with every possible combination, and I review them. I've actually learned some new words, so it is helping me. I suffer from multiple sclerosis, so it's also attacking my brain. Think of it being similar to your being too tired times 100.
