"(King James Version (KJV)) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
(Also important: the Hebrew for 'breathed' or 'breath of life' is where we get the word "spirit.")
So 'soul = dust of the ground + breath of life (which is the spirit).' The "soul" DOES NOT EXIST separate-from the body+spirit!

Soul, Body, Spirit = Human being.
Soul is the one that will be tormented in Hell, or in Heaven happily ever after...
Spirit is the conscience...or the breath of life...
Body is the dust...

No. Did you read the Bible-quote? Body, Spirit = Soul. The Soul is the Human Being (if you like; the body is the Human, the spirit is the Being.)
