When was the last time you told your parents you love them?

Me? I can't remember. I just thought that if I greeted them "I love you" then some bad thing would happen. Like some sort of weird premonition. That's the sole (and silliest) reason why I don't say "I love you". I would try to call them later to tell them I love them...

Like... never. We here find it very difficult and awkward to explicitly express our affection. Reverse is not true though

Both my parents are gone now but I sometimes talk to them as if they were still here; when I do, I tell them how much I love them. I know that sounds nuts, but I still love them after all these years (12 yrs for dad and 11 for mom). I love them and miss them too. If you still have your parents, I would suggest you express your love for them while you can; it is much harder after they are gone.

I have no idea, but my family isn't that big of saying, "I love you." We all know how we feel about each other.

My parents are no longer living together and Im staying with my mom but Im more open with my father especially with my emotions. I talked to my father over the phone yesterday and I always say i love you before we end the call. So, I'd say the last time I said i love you to my father was yesterday. As for my mo, the last time I said i love you, was I think, last week.

everytime we strive to be the best person that we can be, that could be our way of saying "i love you" to them. when was the last time? -- that last time ... few minutes, few hours, few days, weeks, months? -- that last time we as much as possible striving to be a good person. in my case, just few minutes ago when i strive to be a good mom to my kids. it is when we struggle to be our best. that time when we make our parents feel that we value the things which we've learned from them. it is when we value our learnings from them; that instance when we make them feel loved, merely because we "listened" to them with all our heart. that thing when they don't need to keep on reminding us every now and then to apply in our lives whatever it is that they want to see from us. :)

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I said that to my parents but, I know in my heart that I loved them so much and I will do my best to stick to them while they're still there in our side cause not all the time they could be on our side. I will still be praying for a healthy body and a longer life for them.

I talk to my parents just about everyday and always say "I love you" when the conversation is over. I'm the only one of five kids who calls my parents everyday to check up on them and to make sure everything is ok. They live in Florida while I live in Puerto Rico. I don't understand my sibilings and how they can go weeks or months without calling them. I hope before the year is up I will be able to visit them and tell them in person that I love you.

As often as I could. I always tell my mom how much I love her whenever I got the chance. I don't want to miss a chance and tell her how much I love her and thanked her for caring me and being with me when I needed her the most.

Nope I am not that sweet to them. but I always put action into it. For me action speak louder than words. They don't appreciate what am I doing since what they appreciate is what they have done to us. honestly when I help them. I use my sister sometimes so that they wouldn't know that I am the one who have helped them.I dont' want them to appreciate me I don't feel comfortable. because I am already immune when they say bad things against me. so saying good thing about me I don't think I will be happy then.as long as I made them happy that's enough for me.and that is more than enough for me. OH, ya, it's really true about premonition that is why when someone is 'emoting ' to me. I always joke them.hey your doing a premonition so bad thing will not come.
