Best dog

Depends what you want. Big dog(Irish Wolfhound)? Little dog(shih tzu)? Do you want a hyper dog(Jack Russell), or a more laid back dog? And really, all dogs like people have their own personality. Me personally, all the dogs I've had have been mutts/mixed breeds I adopted from the dog pound/animal shelter. Right now I have a black lab/pit bull(?) and a yellow lab/shepherd. Also have a pure bred basset hound, friend gave away. Some were puppy's, some were full grown. I thought they were all great. My mom likes pure bred dogs(Great Pyrnees & a white German shepherd). I've noticed when her dogs get older, they tend to get the diseases that are common to the breeds ie: cancer, hip dysplasia, etc. Our basset hound is blind in both eyes, think one was a cataract and the other glaucoma(happened before we got her). But my other mixed breeds, had no problems with them. Anyway, my point is I'd recommend getting a mutt/mixed breed from your local animal shelter if you have them in your country. They make great pets!

I love labs. I have had them in the past. They are great.. They are very smart and fast learners.

Get a rat terrier, they kill snakes.
