I live in San Antonio, Tx named one of the fattest cities. I hear from people that have visited that everyone is real healthy and is very active. Hardly an overweight person ever sighted. Is it true?

 Colorado - Colorado
Most Coloradoans know they’re thinner than the rest of the country. They may have first noticed it when visiting friends or relatives somewhere else. That peer pressure may be Colorado’s best weapon in the fight against obesity. The state has consistently had the fewest fat residents in the nation: 16.5 percent are obese, and 37 percent are considered overweight, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In Michigan, 25 percent are obese and 37 percent are overweight.

That is awesome. My mom and sister have visited and I've heard about how great it is up there from lots of people. I can't wait to visit soon. I'm hoping to convince my husband to move up there in the next few years.

Colorado ranked high in one of those studies of healthiest people. They claimed it was the geographic nature of the state. There are tons of outdoor activities to do there such as hiking, rafting etc. Supposedly, all that physical activity caused this state to rank highly.
