American Independent "Party"? Aren't 'Parties' the OPPOSITE of 'Independents'?

At Twitter's suggestion, I now "follow" the president of the American Independent Party (in California). My disagreement is not just with the formation of a "party" under the banner of "independent" America, but also -with the writing down of what all 'independent-party members' "believe." Because the 'hallmark' of an Independent is that HE (or SHE) IS RIGHT---that `e KNOWS what he believes. What the president (and all who DO agree with him) OUGHT to do is have a note just above the 'introduction to the Independent Party' (at the given link) saying something to the effect of 'this is what I-, the undersigned members- (with a graphic of their signatures at the bottom), and all other registered members-believe the Independent Party should believe:" And maybe some text after the signatures & registry-count: "If you also believe these things (and agree that the other parties are less-American than we are), we invite you to join us here!" But I don't agree! And I haven't rehd it thoroughly, so I'm not exactly-sure HOW MUCH I disagree with the views there (though I see they've written a lot about our "God-given rights," so you can see where they've made at least one mistake). The main 'belief' I have is ... well, it uses a lot of 'Christian' terms: it's the belief that Grace outweighs Law, that--in STAR TREK (THE WRATH OF KHAN)-terms--"the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." And The Constitution doesn't GIVE "We the People" any rights; it gives 'government' responsibilities, and makes sure they don't violate our "Declaration of Independence"-confirmed rights in fulfilling those responsibilities. We shouldn't let Independents (including myself) get so full of words that they forget to look to the approaching horizon! Can you help me stop them?
