I am so worried! My cat always gone every morning or in afternoon but comes back every evening. I am afraid that someday she won't come back. Why she always do that? Why is so difficult to find her every morning and every afternoon? Does she doing something that I didn't know? Please help. Anyone who has experience on cat?

Yes, your cat is very likely doing a great deal that you don't know about. She may even have a second home and those people may be quite unaware that she 'belongs' to you. She knows, at least, where at least one of her humans is (you) and that is why she comes back in the evening. Cats like to have regular routines which they generally work out with other cats in the area. Some cats don't stray very far from their homes while other cats may have a regular route of several miles which they patrol. They know what other cats are in the same area and when those cats are active and they will avoid the ones they don't get on with by choosing the times and locations of their excursions. There was a very interesting two-part programme some time ago on the BBC where a research team tagged and filmed most of the cats in a small village in England. It showed some very surprising results, some of which I mentioned above. Cats are, by nature, solitary hunters but they have a complex and very varied social life because, usually, each cat's territory overlaps that of other cats and they very often come to some arrangement so that when one cat is active, the other is sleeping and vice versa. It is very likely that, since you give her a good home and feed her, she will always come back every evening but some cats occasionally take 'vacations' and may stay away for several days, returning bedraggled, thin and rather the worse for wear. Sometimes this is because they got trapped in a shed or something or maybe strayed from their usual route and got lost. Other times, it seems, they just felt like living wild for several days. If a female cat is not spayed and becomes pregnant, she will find a safe place to have her kittens. If she trusts you enough, this may often be in a dark place - a closet or something - in your home but she might also find a secret place outside and be gone for several days. The next thing you might know is that she will come back proudly with the kittens in tow!

Cats cannot be 'made' to do anything. Dogs can. Why your cat loves roaming about is another question, but it is not unusual. I don't think you should worry about this. There is an element of unpredictability when it comes to cats but this is why we love them, isn't it?
