Isn't #Christianity about "Becoming #Shepherds?" Why then Do #Pastors Encourage Us to Remain "#Sheep"?

I love Christianity---it is my foundation, my backbone, my sense of balance, & my safety-net when it's not working as any of the first three 
So don't think I'm "howling-along" with the atheist chorus: "Har-dee-har-har! Ye Be the Sheeple! Yuk-yuk!" I do get a little tired of pastoral church-leaders speaking as if they are somehow 'better than sheep' because they think they know what The Great Shepherd wants the sheep to do, but ... this isn't about that.
What this is about: why don't pastors seek to make their followers INTO pastors?
