Does 'This' Attract Insects?

Something my 'attraherentomophobia' ;-) makes me ask about many things: leaving newspapers (to read later) on the floor, collecting and storing (and not dusting frequently-enough) DVDs & video-games & books, not using light-bulb light frequently-enough.
I looked-it-up a little & posted a bunch of sources at the blog linked. I didn't read any of them (except in a passing glance), but I caught:
* that bedbugs are basically attracted to carbon & heat.
* ants, to cookies and 'peanut-butter' (which I heard is the base of most instect-bait ... and which I used to eat a lot of)
* Some people are 'mosquito-magnets,' which--scientists say--is about 85% genetic.
What do you mainly notice attracts insects?

you hear it enough, and it 'becomes true' (basic KGB-propaganda hypnosis-technique) I make sure it's true enough to be 'true,' "email it in" here (and to you, if you subscribe by email) and "The Entity said that it is good." Subscribe to Noise on the Wire
