How Was It Without MyLot?

With out Mylot, I had to talk politics on.....*shudder*.....facebook. It was awful. Simply awful. Now that I'm back here, I will just use facebook for source material. There is a lot of political (and other) comedy gold to be found on facebook pages and I plan on exploiting as much of it as I can cram in to posts.

Although I did join other sites, I never left Mylot. There were still some discussion to be had but, it wasn't the same with everybody being gone.

I was at Morachat which closed down quickly. Then came Bubblews -quite a bit. I am still at Persona Paper and now here.

After MyLot stopped paying, I found out about Bubblews. I joined there and have been with them ever since. They did have their ups and downs. Now that the new updates came, things are looking up there again. I also joined a site called Persona Paper. But once I heard that MyLot is bring back its payment system I jumped and came right over. I missed the old MyLot.

@aries1973 one paid forum i saw many mylotters moved to was morachat, then it disappeared. i hope they all got paid there before the site closed.

Im so elated today to learn from the group of Mr. lamb on FB that Mylot has finally resurrected. I couldnt wait to see again all the old Mylotters here...

I happened to read a discussion in mylot about Bubblews after mylot stopped paying, so I went to Bubblews. Then yesterday I read about mylot is paying again from Bubblews, so here I come again. I'm glad mylot is taken charge by the original founder who decided to make this site paying again. I was not very active in old mylot as I was busy at work. I only participated more when my workload was not so heavy. I didn't need to rely on my online earnings in those days. Now that I have quit my office job and become a work from home mum, online earnings seem to be more important to me now. I hope I can find more time to participate here. Besides the earnings, I really enjoy writing and communicating with others in mylot, it's a friendly community, having the earnings is like giving me an excuse to stay here.

I did not go away from mylot even after it changed its format. It is always fun to share my views on discussions started by mylotters/newbies. I did not find any other site like mylot. The way we interact here on discussions, is not available on any other site. Many old mylotters are on bubblews, however, I did not find it interesting like mylot, so I rarely visit bubblews.

Welcome back ! I was also loving the old layout. I would like to see it back. Who knows ?

Tried so many different sites since myLot, and nothing could ever compare. myLot just feels like home.

I tried a few other sites before just giving up. Mylot was my first home and nothing could truly compare to it. I am glad mylot is back, and hopefully we can relocate all of the missing mylot faces. When it comes to the layout, I wasn't too crazy about the old layout. I think the simpler the layout the better.
