First MyLot Post: Just a Little About Me

Came on board because two people at another site recommended MyLot. House-bound most of the time. Not due to ill health. Just don't have a regular 9 to 5 J-O-B. My kids pay for the Internet so found a way to work from home signing up for communities like this. These social blogging sites let me jot down my thoughts, interact with other people and get paid for the activity. Sometimes my new friends even let me have the last word in a discussion. My husband never does and he don't pay me for my conversation. :) Looking forward to being active here.

Welcome - a group of us left two years ago but now we are back. I do hope that you enjoy it here. I state with equal pride that I am British by birth and Jamaican by choice. Lived here for many years and it is home now. Widowed with five children and 8 grands - they are scattered all over the world/

@cmoneyspinner Yes, I did travel - especially when my daughter was in N.C. and a son in S.C.and friends in Tennessee! lol The friends are still there. I have had two open heart surgeries so money is limited now and I can only work part time. But I will be in Tennessee for your Thanksgiving with my Jamerican friends.

Very interesting background. With offspring scattered, hope that means you get to travel now and then. I don't go anywhere any more. My travel is via Internet. But I'm OK with that! :)

Welcome to myLot. Although mercilessly addictive, it really is a great site. I know what you mean about the last word, rflol. You sound like a perfect fit for this site, and although it is slow when you first start out, the pennies we earn for our opinions increment and will soon be rolling in. Enjoy!

Welcome to Mylot, we're a pretty friendly bunch of people around here and I'm sure you will be welcome here!
Maybe you can even help me out with something, what other sites do you use, I have recently found myself in a position where I need to generate some extra income for my household and would love any incite on other places similar to mylot to look. Thanks and welcome!

I try several sites – HUBPages, Wizzley, Writedge, Daily Two Cents. But the site most similar to MyLot is PersonaPaper. I'll earn revenue if you sign up under my HP, WZZ, or PP referral links. I don't know if it's against the rules here to supply those kinds of links here, so I won't. You can also sign up at Tsu. I get credit for that too if you sign up under my referrer code. @cmoneyspinner Oh how VERY true! It is one thing to not have the last word, but to not able to complete a sentence without interruption? That is annoying.

LOL. Only when I am right. At myLot it's better than getting the last word! I'm actually to get whole sentences in without being interrupted. :)

Welcome to mylot. Yes, it is true that when you share your thoughts here in an effective and interesting manner, you get paid. Your sentence that - [i][/i] "My husband never does and he don't pay me for my conversation.." made me smile because my spouse also does not pay me any penny for my valued opinions/thoughts when I converse with her.

It's rare for me to have a conversation with some one from china. the last time I had a chat with some one from there, I had a crush on her. but overtime, we stopped talking but I still have her on my skype list. I wish there's more of you guys here so that we could have nice place to talk with. I don't have a nine to five job either even at my younger age, wish i had to but i won't be here if i did. have a nice day

Welcome to Mylot. I hope you find your stay pleasant and that you learn from others in here, as that is what this forum is all about. I have learned a lot but I must say, I haven't been in here in ages, as I have been doing other things, and I just simply forgot all about mylot. I decided to come back, as I got an email letting me know that I have a new follower. It is always nice to get new followers. I am very appreciative of all the ones that want to follow me. I will try to spend more time in here than I have lately, as I really do enjoy mylot.
