How should we use the Suggestions option?

I think that the best way to use it is intelligently! If you know someone who is interested in the topic or someone whose response you really would value, then use the 'suggest' button to tell them about it. You can use it not only for your own discussions, but for others as well. You are quite right to say that using it indiscriminately (and only for your own discussions) would quickly seem like spam. It would only take a couple of days of multiple, indiscriminate 'recommendations' from a particular person for me to realise that I was being spammed and to block that person.

I have never tried using that . I just use the notifications . Through there i would know who interacted with my comments and posts .

This is the first time I use this, of course I realize now that it's a threat and can be use by others to spam you. but you have the option to block them I think. I do want my post be read by those who followed me, so what's the point if you don't share your post.

I wasn't even aware that feature existed until today. I'm not sure I'll use it at all, but if I do it will be sparingly and more likely for suggesting things I read than what I wrote.
