An Unanswered Silly Question

Since the day I joined Mylot,my friend has been asking me,'How many discussions can you initiate in a day here?'
It's a silly question,I think.I can't write anything meaningless here and call it a discussion.It depends on how many ideas you have.Ideas that are shareable.One day you may have a lot of ideas whereas the next day you may not have even a single.I just can't answer the question.Can you?

I haven't seen an answer to this but I know that some sites have a limit on how many posts one can publish in a day. My guess is that there's no limit as long as one can come up with topics worth discussing, but maybe @GoAskAlice can confirm this.

He's not asking me what's the limit on the number of discussions in Mylot.What he's asking me how many I am able to share here.

I don't start all that many discussions, because I just can't seem to think of interesting topics. If I can't think of any, I am not going to start any discussions untilI I do. I much prefer to comment to other discussions that I am interested in, because it isn't hard to find anythinjg to say, as I think of it while I am commenting. A discussion on the other hand, has to be well thought out and have substance and meaning. I have seen some discussions, that really aren't discussions, as they are just asking a question, that if they had read the terms and FAQ's, they would know what mylot is all about. I try to avoid some, but not all, as I like to help others understand how mylot workss

I do not think that if any question or doubt or query could be termed as silly. Also, as far as I know there is no limit to start new discussions. You could start as many but preferably these should be meaningful discussions. You should post your comments on the responses received with regard to your discussion. If you fail to comment on responses, then users may not respond you next time.
