New to myLot: Introducing myself

Just wanted to write a quick hello and introduce myself since I am new here. I have seem many people that I met at Bubblews gravitating this way and the curiosity has gotten the best of me, so here I am.
I am a happily married empty nester. While the happily married part is indeed happy the empty nest thing is a big downer for me. I just have not found my peace with it yet. I like to write daily and sometimes you might even see me here at myLot several times through the day, that is if I decide I like it, and I do hope to.
Anyway, nice to meet everyone!

It was the same in Bubblews when MyLot stopped paying in 2013. Now many MyLotters are returning and bringing friends from Bubblews. It's really great! We shall party 24/7.

@AbbyGreenhill I had forgotten PP. Of course a lot of people from Bubblews moved on to there (and some were ex-MyLotters). What matters is that many people are coming here with their own, ready-made 'communities' from different sites. That helps a lot when joining a site like this and just a little stir of the pot will soon add new friends. We shall be GREAT yet!

Welcome to MyLot! You'll probably need a little time to find your way around and get used to things! Here there is no minimum number of words/characters per post (though, of course, a discussion topic needs to have something to discuss) and there's no stupid maximum for a response or comment. What you earn here is based on everything you do - it's all about 'interaction' - so responding to and commenting in other people's discussions is as much worth your while as getting responses to which you can reply in your own discussions. It's really a great place to have fun, make friends, learn stuff and get feedback on your opinions, ideas and even your gripes!
You'll find a lot of help under "Help" (at the top, next to your username and avatar (when you upload one) and a lot of people will answer any questions you have - in fact, I'm (unofficially) compiling a list of the answers to the most commonly asked ones here:

Welcome to mylot. You have come to the right place as this a great community to make friends, have fun, and most of all to earn. The key to this site is interacting with others, and they will interact with you. That is how we get paid now, instead of just doing our own posting, as it used to be. If you do need help of any kiind, just ask us or better yet to read the faq's and guidelines, as it spells everything there.You will find all the information in the help section under your username. I hope that you find mylot to be a fun site, and that you come back.

@laylalair You are very welcome. That is what mylot is all about is helping others. I was helped a lot when I first joined mylot several years ago. It is so nice to have that interaction, as we all interact together and help each other along the way.

Yep, so many from bubblews. I actually came over from Gather.com but wasn't all that active here back then, now it's a ton of fun with all these wonderful personalities. It's so much more fun than Gather or Bubblews ever was.

Being here and interacting several times a day is perfect. I try to do the same. We may have met at other places, but for me, anyway, myLot is home and the members here are friends.
