A Door Opened Can Reveal It Was Not Meant To Be

There was a time when I really wanted to work as a Substitute Teacher for an elementary school and then I wanted to work at a Pre School as a Pre School Teacher. I prayed that God would open those doors for me and He did. But, both of those opportunities were not good ones. It is too much detail as to what went wrong to go into here, but I will say, I am just glad I had the opportunity. I feel like God gave me the opportunity to show me that those two professions are not for me. Also, another time, I really needed a job and was willing to take anything I could find. So, an opportunity opened for me to work at a fast food restaurant. That did not go well either. I know now that elementary education and restaurant work are not for me. God opened doors and closed doors to teach me a lesson. Has this happened to you?
