Playing Catch Up

I can finally interact on myLot for a little while this morning. Our new puppy Daisy has really kept me on my toes what with potty training and making sure she doesn't get into stuff. I haven't had a puppy in over 15 years. But she is well worth it.
My brother made sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast and has now gone back to bed. Daisy and Bella are both napping so hopefully I can get caught up on notifications. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

@LadyDuck Sundays are always quiet here too. I started my discussion early this morning and had to stop. Daisy woke up so I guess she was only catnapping. Now my brother is up so he can keep an eye on her. I will definitely post more pictures soon.

I am playing catch-up too, but I didn't know you were not here let alone that you did get a puppy. Do you have pictures? Or did I miss the post about it? I am going to check your previous posts, just in case.

@simone10 Yay! Except my activity isn't going to be that much and after being here for a while this morning, I am watching my notifications rise higher. I probably won't have time to create my own post today.

@Carmelanirel2 I am also having trouble with my notifications. I am seriously behind on them and can't seem to get a handle on them. I guess, when I have the time, I am going to have to just spend a day going through them.

Training a new puppy can be tiring and a challenge. I'm sure she will adapt soon and in the end it will all be worth it. I love puppies and wish we could have a pet here but cant.

Great Blondie at least you can enjoy the company of your dog even at your mothers house. They can be such fun.

@Marcyaz I just enjoy my dog at my mom's house, that's good enough for me.

It must be a sausage gravy and biscuits day. . . a lot of my friends on other sites have had this as well. I am taking it easy but also listening to church services on the radio.

I love all kinds of animals, Puppies and kittens are among my favorites. When I was grown up, we had some cats. My dad built them a little house outside on our patio deck. He even insulated it, to keep them warm during the cold weather. I'd often sit out on our patio desk holding the cats one at a time in my arms, singing to them and rocking them to sleep. As they dozed off to sleep, I'd gently lay them down inside their little house, and tuck them in for the night.

Glad to hear Daisy is doing well and that the house is now peaceful for a bit for you to be able to get some myLotting in.

I love dogs and would love to have one but at this point in my life it is too much responsibility!

My puppy is now 9 months old but I still have to watch her although she has gotten much better about now getting into things. It will get easier Simone, the older the puppy is and soon her potty training will be over as she will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is so adorable.
