Birth control pills for men.

Birth control pills for women are very common. I heard somewhere that researchers have developed oral pills for men to control birth. Is this true?

As yet there is no safe and effective 'male pill' but development is still ongoing. The problem is that testosterone has several functions only one of which involves the production of sperm. Lowering the testosterone level in the body in order to prevent the production of viable sperm can have very undesirable side effects.
