The New "Suggest" Feature

I am loving the new "suggest" feature. You can suggest a discussion to a follower if you feel that they would like to read it or join in on the discussion.
All you have to do is hover over the bottom left of a discussion and you'll see the option to 'suggest' the discussion to any of your followers. You can even suggest to several followers if you wish! It's just like a 'share' button.
I think this is a great way to help make sure good discussions get seen here in myLot. What do you think of this feature that came with the new site?

When I get to know someone I always like to make sure I visit their profile page once in a while to read their posts and discuss with them.

@Angelee_27 Me too! The thing is I am so limited on time - I am just all over the place online and in real life. So if you don't hear from me, please do not take it personally - I'll get to everyone sooner or later!

@much2say Oh no problem! I understand completely. We all have our everyday lives we have to attend to and that comes before myLot. For me at the moment, living in a motel, I have a lot of free time to spend on myLot!

I like it too, as I would miss the disucssions otherwise. Right now, that is what I am doing is the ones suggested to me. 'Some I have responded to before I got them as suggestions, and others, I will skiip them if I can't give any feedback. I have done quite a few of them, like this one for instance. Thank you for suggesting it, as I didn't know it was even a discussion.

That's good! We should all use it as much as possible. It really helps discussions get "out there" so members can't interact.

Yes, it really is a nice tool for us to use here in myLot. Give it a try! You could share your next discussion with your followers so they will come by and read.

My followers don't seem to mind it at all, and I suggest quite a bit. 99% of the time when I suggest something, they respond to the discussion. Don't be afraid to use this feature, it's apart of myLot! Nobody is going to jump out of the computer screen and get you.

Yeah, it can be good for those who can be here every day, but as you can see by the sate, it took me almost 3 weeks to get to this post. I have about 177 suggestions and since I view the oldest first, it takes a long time for me to get to the suggested post. So if you need an immediate response, I am not the one...
