Are you ready for fall?

It feels like fall out there today. I have windows and doors open and the air off. This being mid-September, is very early for fall in Texas, so I have my reservations that summer is finally over (and I really hope it is). We do need to winterize the yard and the house, get that last good mowing in, so the yard looks good for the winter, reseal windows, that kind of thing.
I may not be ready for winter and fall, chore wise, but I am totally ready for jeans, jackets and cool mornings! How about you?

@Jessicalynnt They are coming out Wednesday to fix it. Problem is, its a 9100 dollar fix. So that sucks.

@loki1982 yeah I know how that goes. i take it you own? get a good warranty on this round, so they have to come out and fix it over and over again for free perhaps

good timing for that kind of thing, hope you get it fixed, saw dallas on your handle, texas is NOT a place to have no air for long.

Yes definitely, I am ready for fall.The summer here in Oregon was exceptionally hot, and since my AC doesn't work, I had to make do with fans, which didn't help a lot but they did at night when it cooled down. Now, it is cool enough that I don't need the fans, and I love it. I am not looking forward to winter though.

We lived in Oregon for several years, me for 7, and I didn't like it too much. I don't miss the dry heat of the summer months on the east side of the state, I do miss the ocean though.

@Jessicalynnt I love Oregon, just not when it gets as hot as it did this summer. Right now it has cooled off considerably and it feels much better. It will warm up again though for a few days, and then cool right back down again.

Yes I am ready for fall. I realised it this weekend, the temperature dropped and I was looking forward to wear my jackets and cardigans.I like summer more, but my next favourite season is fall and then spring, when it's a little colder but we can still go outfor walks and small trips to the nature.

I like the changes in color as well, sadly in Texas sometimes they come and go almost over night it seems.

The fall (or Autumn as we call it here) is one of my favorite times of year. I absolutely love the browns, dark greens and yellows of the scenery. It's absolutely beautiful.

oddly enough we don't get the colors for long down here, the leaves turn and a few days later are just gone.

95 degrees here currently in my lil patch 'f new mexico. i'm not that fond 'f the cold weather that's comin'. i dislike bein' bundled up to go outdoors. aint particularly crazy 'bout those cold morns neither. i know, i'm a party pooper.
