Should I Quit Or.....

I am in Mylot and I am in Bubblews also.I am puzzled.Am unable to decide whether I should quit Bubblews. Presently my earnings there are $40+.The payout is $50.I am just $10 away from payout.Should I try to reach the payout, redeem and then say 'good bye' to the site. But I don't think I would be able to reach the payout there before the end of 2016.Would the site exist till then? And even if it somehow manages to exist, would it pay? What to do? Should I let go off my hard earned $40? I am puzzled.Indecisive.

Considering that, with ANY site, until you have actually reached payout and have been paid, the numbers you see in your Bank or (here) up by your username aren't real money, it's all a bit up in the air. Nobody knows what will happen to Bubblews. It may crash or it may hold on by the skin of its teeth. I understand that the earnings are rather slow there (I do still visit it but haven't bothered to post anything except the occasional comment for many months) but, as you are fairly near the magic $50, it may be worth your while keeping going if you can post a short piece every day (how long is that going to take you? 15 minutes, maybe?). On the other hand, posting and interacting here is, by all accounts, a lot quicker and you'd probably have at least one payout here - maybe more - before Christmas if you work at it. That being said, neither MyLot nor Bubblews is really about the money. If you don't enjoy writing, interacting and doing what you are doing, there is no point in spending the time on it because you'd probably do better walking the streets picking up dropped coins! (at least you'd get the exercise, anyway!)

@else34 I completely understand your problem with time! Bubblews certainly does seem to be drifting into shallow water at the moment!

@owlwings, Yes,you were also in that site, and we all accept what we are going to see in days to come. That's why I see it a wastage of precious time to keep writing for a site that is going to become non-existent very soon.To hope that it would resurrect itself amounts to hoping against hope.Still I'll stick to your advice.

@owlwings,you have a point. Thanks a lot for guiding me.I know quite well that Mylot or Bubblews, for that matter, are not only for making money. On these sites we learn a lot, make friends from across the world and make fun.Money is just an additional benefit. For me,however, another additional benefit I get from these sites is that these are the sites that have provided me with a platform where I can hone my writing skills in English,a foreign language for me. Still, when we joined theses sites,we had a hope of making some extra money there. Well,I will stick to Bubblews. Will give 10 to 15 minutes a day writing for it and proceed towards the payout inch by inch.Let us see what happens. My problem is lack of time.I have to somehow manage to steal an hour or two to log in to Mylot. From this hard earned time parting with a few minutes for a site that looks struggling hopelessly to exist is difficult. That's why I hesitate.I know whatever we earn on a site is,as you say,'in air',unless and and until we actually get paid the amount. But here the site itself [Bubblews ] looks to be 'in air.'Am I wrong. I have decided.I will continue with Bubblews.

@gudheart There are many more unfortunate once who were made to accept just $6 in lieu of the payout $50.Many more others were paid simply nothing.

@lady1993,I had been taken for a ride by the site not once or twice, but as many as six times.Somehow consoled myself that Bubblews is in trouble.Today I thought,if I now have Mylot,a genuine, reliable site back again, why should I waste my time uselessly on a dying site.Hence this discussion.

They kind of did with me too. Halved my earnings after I reached payout.

So I see you have already decided to go on... that's what I was going to suggest too. Not sure whether they'll pay or not (I never made an honest effort to earn ) but giving a last chance is all fair. All said and done, my opinion is you should proceed by centimeters instead of inches - give more time here and go to Bubblews twice a week. Something like that. And that's just a suggestion.

@hora_fugit,thanks for your eye-opener suggestion. Thanks again. From today I am going to send my next post to Bubblews.Question is not whether they would pay me or not, question is,whether the site would exist by the time I reach the payout. And if the site crashes, the time I am going to give to Bubblews would be wasted.Hope, you understand my problem.

Why not try to earn 10 more and then redeem and if you get paid, then it is a big incentive to stay. But the only problem is it is so hard to earn at Bubblews because the connections are not that active anymore.

@salonga,I don't think I would ever be able to reach the payout there. They pay so less that you'd have a hard time making one cent.Imagine, how much would it take me to make $10 there.Even beggars get more than what we earn there by writing posts. Those who had joined the site are fleeing and joining Mylot.Traffic is depressingly less.I don't see any point staying there. However $40,hard earned $40 is too big an amount to let go off.I hope, you understand.

@else34 I understand you predicament. I have outstanding $17 plus in that site but have no intention to work further. I would rather work for a site that surely pays.

I've never participated in bubblews since the reviews I read about them wasn't pretty good. So I can't really give you an insight about what would likely happen if you continue with them. But since you've been working to earned that 40 bucks in your account, why don't you keep working for another 10? If writing is really something you enjoy and you can also hone your English skill, then maybe you can spend some of your spare time there.

@Dauphin Bleu,But if I utilize these 15 minutes in Mylot,I would be able to hone my writing skills besides earning a few cents.I can't expect even a penny in Bubblews. The site is in ICU and only a miracle can save it.In its heydays,it went on paying unreasonably high incentives to participants and the result is here for all of us to see.

@gregario,nobody is satisfied with the site, and Bubblews should blame itself for its plight.A time was when it was perhaps the highest paying site, but mismanagement of the site led us to trouble.Only a miracle can resurrect it from the trouble it is in.

I can understand your predicament . But to be honest i have lots of unpaid ones from 2014 , more than $300 , but still i persevered in writing there so the next ones were all paid until last December . I finally decided to quit since my friends aren't there anymore too. I have more $4 in my bank and that's for more than 8 months .

@SIMPLYD,Yes,I have now decided to continue with Bubblews. But traffic there is so low and incentive so less that I don't think it would take me less than a year to make $10.Will the site exist till then? And even if it does, would it pay me.I got paid there five times.Redemption failed six times.Still I will go on with it.
