What was the old myLot like?

I've noticed a lot of users here talk about the "old myLot" quite a bit, and as I am new here, I can't quite understand what it was all about. Was it similar to the way the site is now, or was it something completely different?
What happened at myLot to create such change?

I think you will find a different answer depending on the person. I'm having a great time and much of it is having fun.
The history is Mylot looked differently visually but don't think we can see the old format. I like this one better anyway. It was announced that there would be a change of format and payments would stop but all the accounts before the change were paid in full. Something, I think was very professional and honest. Here is just a random post I found.
