How Often Do You Play Games?

Do you play games often or does it rarely happen these days? I'm talking about any online games like on Facebook, MMORPG games, any game you have on your phone or even classic board games or sports. Quite recently I realized I haven't been playing much at all! I guess that's why I'm feeling overworked and tired instead of happy and relaxed on my rest days. Guess I should finish that RPG game on my laptop but I somehow don't want to play it. Ah what the heck I'll just play whatever game I can while I have free time. I did play one game of Risk earlier, courtesy of @purplealabaster. And then I remember I haven't played Contra on Facebook (which I found a few days ago but now it's gone!) so I went ahead and found it on another site. Sadly I find it's not as fun as playing on a console game, especially since it's just me playing the game. No player 2. Huhuuu. Sometimes it's sad being an adult who gets too busy to play.

I don't allow myself to play games on my computer because I find them too addictive. When I used to play them I could spend hours at my computer without getting anything worthwhile done. I do sometimes play board games though I haven't done so for quite a while.

Me too... I haven't played any board games since I was a kid... All I get to play now are online games. Ah well. I guess it's all about the money when we're all grown up.

@owstalaga I haven't totally stopped playing board games, but I don't often find time for them. I should though because I'm sure it's healthier than spending so much time in front of the TV or computer.

@Gina145 True it's healthier but we're all wired to go online nowadays...

If I started playing games, whether it were on the computer, tablet or iPhone, i wouldn't be able to put it down, and I dont want that happening. A person can get so engrossed in in playing games, that they wouldn't get anything else done. i do have a few gams on both my ipad and iPhone, but I am able to stop and do other things. In fact, I would rather be in here than play games anyday.

Hahaha, yeah that's why I think I am not able to play any games anymore. I'd rather earn money than play games. Oh whatever has happened to me...

@owstalaga Yea playing games earnes us nothing, so I figure I might as well go where I can be productive and try to earn something, even it it isn't a lot, it all adds up over time.

I hardly every play online or computer games, although there are a few that I will play from time to time. I do play a lot of board games or games on the gaming console that are multiplayer games, because that is a way that we spend family time. We also play sports as often as we can to stay active and get exercise. I would absolutely hate being an adult that is too busy to play games.

Wow that's great you and your family still play sports/games. I've never been active so I prefer playing computer and console games even as a kid. It was really fun playing with friends and family. These days I just play online (or on my laptop) on my own.

@owstalaga We have always been very active and try to be sports oriented. Sometimes we can only manage a hike or walk, which is still fun family time. Being able to play 4-square or baseball or kickball is a lot more exciting, though. Eventually we also want to get a net to play badminton and volleyball. We already have a basketball hoop that we use as well.

I stopped playing FB games few years ago. But recently my son asked me if he could play Animal Jam. So, I checked the game to make sure it's kid-friendly. And to my surprise, it was a very interesting game. It's good for kids... and moms too, lol! I am now a fan of the game, but I only play when I am bored.

Oh maybe I can check on that game too. I need some new games in my phone as well... And I need a bigger memory for an SD card. Ok I take it back... no more games.

I play some games, but not that often. I used to be more into games but I'm over them now. I would rather spend my time online making money.

Hahaha, true. That's what most adults do nowadays and so games aren't done as much as before.
