The sun is out and as soon as the lawn is dry enough I will get out there
and mow it. It's going to be difficult as we had a lot of rain and it's been more
than a week of no mowing.
Meanwhile, I am doing some laundry and kitchen duties in between my
visits here this morning.
It looks like I am going to have a productive day and I am glad about it.

Hey Marie!
It's a great day when the Sun is out, isn't it? Seems to me that just by glancing at the sunlight will give me a boost for the day, hahaha. I enjoy it much more than when it is a cloudy, gray day.
I've never mowed lawn. Here in Brazil we don't cultivate it in our yards - we plant flowers or have a small garden, but it's hard to see lawn in our gardens. We have it in empty lots, though. Usually, when we have them, we don't mow - we cut it with a sickle or a hoe.
I have always seen those lawnmower machines in which the person sits and drives something like a small tractor. It must be fun to do, hahaha. Once in a while, of course.
Hope you do have the productive day you're expecting.
Respectfully!

Goodmorning. I have not been very productive since I got back from Ireland but I keep hoping this will be the day

I hope that you got your lawn mowed yesterday. Our grass has slowed down in its growth, my husband is able to let it go a week or maybe an extra day. We haven't had much rain, except a shower on Monday, so hopefully it will be dry when he goes to cut ours. Won't be long now that we are into October and we can forget about cutting it for the winter months.

Glad you got sunshine. The grass does tend to grow. Good luck.
