Its raining

Just when I thought that we will soon be having to start watering our rather big garden it has started raining much to my relief. Watering takes a long time here although we do have sprinklers here and there. We can utilise this time for other chores that are pending. How is the weather at your end.

@allknowing if I had a big garden though I'd definitely want a bit of rain, ours can be watered in a matter of minutes

@allknowing Yes, because the wet pollen do not float in the air, so you can breath better.

@LadyDuck We all take about beautifying our places but that pollen could be quite a problem. In the US, you will find all those trees alongside roads and they are the cause of Asthma there.

I like it when it rains so I don't need to water my gardens. They are fairly small, but it still takes time. Currently it is cool, mostly cloudy, and quite windy.

We have had rain for 2 days in a row now, it finally stopped today. They are saying we may get more into the weekend because that hurricane is threatening New york state. Our creek behind the house is full and almost made it to the stairs that come up to the house..

The weather has been beautiful in England all this week. I have been away from home for a few days until today, and I see some of my plants are in need of water. Glad the rain came for you.

That is a problem for you to leave your plants unattended. I cannot do that too. I will have someone to atleast water them when I am away.

@allknowing When we went away foor two weeks in July I had someone come in every day to do the watering, but at this time of year I didn't bother as my flowers are pretty much finished by now anyway.
