We have many silent admirers

Among the many silent admirers we have our pet who loves to take a stroll in the garden watching our garden grow. She will only walk on those paths and stand and stare. Sometimes I wonder what she has in her mind.

My only pet is a fish. It knows to knock on the fish tank to ask for food. I do not think it admires me at all!

I do not have any pets at the moment, although it may be an idea to get one now. Obviously it would not have been fair to an animal while I was working and out of the house all day, but now that I have retired it should be more practical.

@allknowing That would be fine after a period of time, but if I had acquired a pet while working it would have meant leaving it abandoned while I was out during the first few days or so.

@Asylum You are right. Unless you have someone to care for them one cannot leave them along. We always have someone.

She is very well trained if she doesn't disturb your flowers etc.

She has adapted to a way of life and most of that is her own doing. She will sit near the dining table when we are eating. She will not beg and this she does every single day. She does not like a soiled bedsheet. She wants it changed. There is more!! .
