Finding MyLot Users

I still haven't had an enormous amount of time to browse around here, but I did try last night. I attempted to find a couple people I had seen on other posts after the fact. I tried searching by name, by user name, with an ampersand, without. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong. Perhaps I will figure it out tonight.

I didn't find it easy to find people either, but if you put in the user name with@ in front, press enter and then press 'Users' at the bottom left of that page that should bring you there. If you are following them you can get to them through the following button.

I've tried this myself and didn't know to look at the users at the lower left until I saw this answer on another post a few minutes ago. Thanks, @owlwings for the clarification.

There's quite a few of us from B here, Jill, but some are using different names here than they did there, while others use the same name. Others still haven't made the switch as yet.

It was easy for me, my dear. I just typed the (what I thought are the) usernames of friends in Bubblews whom I know are here already, at the search button on the upper left of my cp's screen. Then, viola! I had them, one after the other! Yehey!

I found that finding people and then being able to follow them was the hardest part of learning the site. Don't give up, I did that, and stop coming online or you'll never get the hang of it. Once things are "set up" and you have your peeps and a little routine down, you'll find others and get interacting and writing again, which I know that you enjoy, and you'll find your happiness.

Hi Jillybean. Good to see you here. Like you, I'm a newbie and am tending to find old friends by their comments on posts. It can be tricky though as several old Bubble buddies have new usernames.

Yep, I actually saw your name on someone else's post, but then couldn't remember whose! So i searched Scootermac, as well as Robin Lamb, but didn't have any luck. I was obviously doing something wrong. :-) good to see you over here as well!

I am the same way. First of all I am still unpacking from our move. We are only in this condo 2 weeks and I feel like it is a month already. Every room is perfect except for the computer room as I have so many boxes to empty. I finally got a system going and that is I labeled lots of totes and as I empty a box, everything in the box goes into one of my labeled boxes.
Eventually, hahaha, I will sort through all the labeled boxes and put stuff away.
One thing keeps me at a slow pace is this computer. Every time I come in this room I sit down in front of the computer and I am lost for another hour.
Good thing I am retired and have all the time in the world.
