I am a very outspoken person when it comes to five things. These five things make me very upset and I will not put up with them in my friends or anyone I have to deal with. People who have these characteristics in their make up are a waste of time as far as I am concerned. These five areas are: 1. Dishonesty. Liars are a waste of time as far as I am concerned. 2. Business ethics. Go by the rules and laws or don't be around me. I may not agree with the laws and/or rules but they are made for a reason and, as a society, we need to follow them. 3. Hypocritical behavioral. I hate to hear these people that spout off about something but go ahead and do it themselves. Can't stand it, won't abide it. 4. Drugs. Don't want them around or want anything to do with them in my life or the lives of those around me. 5. Injustices. Especially against me or my family. If I feel it is unfair I am going to tell you about it. I have been helping this certain person with their English usage. They were writing for a site that I had been writing for and asked me to edit some of their work and we struck up a friendship. She improved in her English usage and was thankful for my help. Well, recently she did some things that showed her to be both a hypocrit and a liar. I called her on it. She told me that there were times a person should just shut up and stop a war instead of speaking up and starting one. Excuse me! I have never been one to stay quiet when I think there has been an injustice or someone has gone against these five fundamental laws of life that I feel so strongly about. And, if you are a friend of mine you should know this. She says I should not say anything rather than be sorry for something later on. What? She is the one who did this, not me. Why try to put it back on me? Do you see how screwy some people are and why I choose to not interact with them?

"The less people you chill with, the less bullshit you deal with." Courtesy FB Just don't even bother with people who flouts these 5 fundamental rules, because to me, these rules are important and justified.

@ria1606roy ....That's so true. I told her how I felt in an email and she hasn't chosen to answer back. That was two days ago.

It is not fair on her part not to feel grateful to you for the help rendered by you. Even if you say something, she should not react adversely, because you were her guide and sort of mentor.

We should stand up for what we believe in. We should stand up for others. People want people to remain silent because they're afraid to pick up. From what you described here, that doesn't sound like a good friendship, I hope you can find a way to make her understand but don't stress about it.

I'm not stressed. Thank you. I do and did stand up for what I believe in. She says one thing and then changes her mind. Can't seem to stick on even a side. Pretty weird situation all round.

I definitely understand and feel just as strongly as you do about it. Guilty people always try to take the heat off themselves by putting the blame on someone else.

Isn't that the truth? And just one more irritating characteristic.

@celticeagle It really is. I have met people both at work and outside of work who are that way. It's so frustrating.

It sounds to me like she has learned what 'politically correct' means @celticeagle . What a crock. Some people don't like me because of what I say. I don't sugar-coat anything. I even told the mayor of our town that he was a jackass at the town hall meeting and he didn't like it one bit.

Good for you! I just feel life is too short to put up with these things in my life. I don't sugar coat things either. I really thought more of this person than what she has shown me. And her continued lack of communication just shows me that I am right.

If they cannot change their bad habits, I am too strong to hold back to my good habits. Like me dislike me, be unjust to me or anything, I dont care in the long run. Because I have many other things at hand to worry about and be occupied with

So true. I am very strong in my convictions and if she can't be someone I can trust then I don't want to be her friend.
