I decided since it is getting closer to the Holidays we might discuss things to do to pretty up our classroom here in myLot. Leave all your ideas and responses on the table box over there I better not find anything suggestive inside of it or you will all be sent to the office Decorations and names for the dance will be also needed. Food and refreshments sign up sheet.on wall over there Who is first?

Since I live alone, I don't decorate, as I am the only one that sees it anyway. I do put up a tabletop tree though, and that will always be the case, but I just don't put up lights like others do. I have, however put lights on my living room window, but I decided that I wasn't going to do that anymore, as I just can't get them to stay up there anyway. I do put a wreath on the door though, and that won't change either.

@Rosekitty That is okay, as it is not a really big deal anyway. It isn't the same as it was when I was married. When I was married, I decoraged a lot, but divorce has changed my way of thinking. Don't get my wrong, I love Christmas, just not all the decorating. i love to look at them though, as every year, my son will take me to look at the Christmas lights, and I enjoy that a lot.

Ok, I will bring the pizza - regular and Sicilian and soda - I believe someone sneaked in a bottle of rum, but don't tell the headmistress - we will get yelled at!

@thesids @Marcyaz @Rosekitty Sure you can have some but we can't let the teacher know, she will take it away and pretend to dump it and I know she'll be sipping it herself in the teachers lounge. She is a very thirsty teacher.

You gonna make brownies and have pretzels and chips? How about making chains out of colored paper and hanging that up. Iced tea is on my list to bring. Name for dance KittysKat.

For holidays I used to have the kids make shape people and decorate them with glitter. All kids love glitter. And the shape people turned out great. You can make pumpkins, ghosts and witches for Halloween. For christmas and Thanksgiving you can make turkeys and trees out of shapes.

@Rosekitty When I got a good deal on glitter and did art projects with the children I did day care for. There was glitter everywhere. All over the kitchen and living room. But the fun the children had was worth it.

@Rosekitty But of course, it has. I've been out of touch with the schools recently but they had changed several years ago not to offend. The culture itself has changed quite a bit.

Oh - pretty up the room? Well I'll just show up! You can count on me for customized party favors and goody bags for the dance (I'm a graphic artist and have done loads of party stuff - making it look great while being super cheap!). I can even wrap Teacher @Rosekitty brownies with a fancy holiday label as part of the parting gift!!

Well, I think for starters we should all decide to make something for this holiday classroom. Like food. Then we can bring in some decorations and we do need a tree. Not really a big one. And if this is going to be for us adults only, then may I suggest some drinks. Not only soft drinks, but something on the harder side, if you know what I mean.

Maybe we could tell religious people that having a Christmas Tree is a pagan tradition that also serves as a phallic symbol to be more fertile in the upcoming season. And we could do that by drawing giant dongs and hanging them on the wall lmao (I'm heading to the office, don't worry).
