What do your like about Autumn?

Autumn is one of my favorite times of year. The days are often warm nights crisp and cool. Leaves turn color on trees into a blaze of glory. There are still some autumn flowers in bloom. Asters, Mums, late roses,. we see flocks of geese and ducks veeing overhead to warmer climates. Hunting season is here Hunter's are out in hunter orange looking for deer, elk, moose, some also get winter firewood too. People are gathering in late garden produce and pumpkins are orange and bright. Baking of cookies or pies scents the air it is a time for hot cocoa by a warm fire. We put away summer an spring toys and tools and winterize our homes, cars, and get out warmer clothing and put away summer attire. Thanksgiving is near and people plan who will be around the table this year to share the meal. Kids are excited to wear costumes in antipation of going door to door on All Hallow's Eve. Known as Halloween. The clocks are set back to standard time. Winter is near. Are you ready for winter?
