Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. How often do you come in contact with someone who cannot say anything positive? What do you do? Many years ago I found I was one of those negative people. I also realized it was because of my upbringing. There was a lot of negativity going around in my family - particularly from parent to child. With that kind of influence it wasn't surprising I was negative. It was only when I became a Christian and started evaluating my life, that I made a conscious effort to change my communication. Now I have a hard time being around negative people. I don't want their negativity to rub off on me. When we use our time with others in a positive manner, we attract other positive people to us. Are you positive or negative? Is a change necessary? Thanks for reading.

I try to show a lot of patience with negative people as they also need to be helped. Even in the Bible godly people got discouraged to the point that they wanted to die. I can think of Elijah and Job. The problems some face are more than they can handle. Patience and love, can be just what they need during their distresses. I have a friend that was so discouraged that he didn't answer my calls for months but I left him messages and today he actually called me back and we had a little talk together. He is feeling a bit better. I'm so happy for him!

Definitely I am a positive person. For my age now, I won't let negative thoughts enter my mind.

I try to hang around with positive people only. Negative people bring you down.
