So I recently left my job after 4 long hard years. I am looking to start a career. For this discussion I would like for everyone to start their current title that they are in and if it is a long term career or just a join for them? I then would like you to state any likes or dislikes about your position?

I also ever have 6 long hard years in my workplace. Finally, I resign and prefer stay at home for looking after my two daughters. Actually, I love have a good career, but it is so hard to find a good company which make me comfort stay longer for work there.

How are you srisahara? I agree with you about having to feel some aort of comfort in the workplace. No longer feeling comfortable actually prompted my departure from my last company. My question for you is upon leaving the previous companies did you secure other employment first or was your discussion very rational?

@srisahara sound like a plan. What type of things would your online business service? I myself have a 2 year old daughter and she is my pride and joy. Seeing that I am a shingle parent and sole provider for my family I have to work. Although at times I wish I could stay at home.

I have two jobs. My first job is a Mother my second job I am a clerk at a retail store. No it's not a long term career but it helps bring some income into the household while my kids are still on the smaller side. I would like to move into something better but we have no child care so I am limited as to where I can work right now that will work around my families schedule.

Hello Cahaya. I see that you say you are self employed. What tyke of business do you run? I would love the freedom of creating my own hours but I'm not sure how I would deal id my business wasn't producing my ideal revenue.

Well, I am a host. I have a Bachelor of Arts college degree. I was above par in my first occupation - a life insurance salesman. After half a dozen different occupations, I ended up as casino tech/host. After 10 years working in the gambling business, I decided to slow down and currently working as a part-time host in the largest Canadian grocery store. I greet, entertain, and assist customers, young and old, nice and grumpy as well, and customers who smell so good and those that smell so bad as well. . got no choice. But the best profession that I would love to practice is as a catholic priest. Because as a priest I don't worry about money, clothing, and foods on the table. . . Seriously, I would suggest that if you love selling - - be a realtor. There is money in selling houses!
