Youtube Of The Day - The Shining As A Feel-good Movie

If you have seen Stanley Kubrick version of The Shining, or read the Stephen King novel you'll know it is among the best known and most terrifying of horror stories. Well not any more, as this ingeniously edited trailer shows the movie as Kubrick perhaps really intended, as a wholesome Feel-good Romantic feature on par with Kramer V Kramer. Enjoy, but if you haven't seen the film, be aware that it really isn't a family friendly romance as this spoof trailer makes out. Arthur Chappell
Imagine if "The Shining" was a romantic feel-good movie. I don't know who made this, but I take my hat off to you!

I love a lot the novel and for what concern the movie, a mini series version made for the TV is very good too. Of course, as usual, the book is better.

The TV version was done because King hated the Kubrick movie which did change a lot from the book

@arthurchappell He changed too many, I would have also been annoyed if I was Stephen King.

I saw it on the big screen too as I read the book, which is better but it is a good film.

I was never a Stephen King fan and it took me a long time to finally get around to seeing The Shining--wasn't that impressed and found Jack to be too hammy!! :O)
