Unique gift ideas for husband?

It is Christmas time again and once more, I am wondering what to give my husband. I gave him shirts, coffee grinder, perfumes etc in the past years and wondering what to give him this year. Apart from Christmas, he will also celebrate his birthday a week after that. So I need to come up with 2 gift ideas! Help!

My husband and I choose not to give each other gifts for Christmas. We put all of our extra money towards gifts for the kids instead. If we can afford it we will do birthday presents, but as my birthday is near my son's birthday, and his birthday is in fall when we have limited money due to the kids' activities, we don't often buy birthday gifts either.

Kids really become our priorities once we have them, don't we? Well, we also don't splurge on gift-giving and mostly resort to draw lots so we can write down the things we want/need. So the other person can buy something useful. But I was just thinking if I can buy him something he didn't expect...

@cessy_08 I'm sure he'd love it. When we were buying gifts for each other long ago I would get him a couple things he needed, like clothes, then I'd get him a couple things he'd want like a new video game.

if he is into sports get him some sports stuff like i fish and hunt and my wife buys me supplies which i appreciate because it is something i can use.

Some unique gifts I've given my husband over the years are a trip to fly (with a co-pilot ) a jet fighter plane, a few laps around a NASCAR track in a real race car, and a video of a local news woman, plus other friends and relatives wishing him a merry Christmas.

Wow, your husband likes fast cars? Hmm my husband mostly like clothes and shoes that's why I gave him those for the past years. I think he wants a car but that is too expensive T_T

@cessy_08 Those were special gifts, but most of the time we just buy a few inexpensive presents for each other.
